Biography
Emily is the Event and Engagement Coordinator for University Collections. She holds a B.A. in Fashion and Museum Studies from Cornell University, as well as an M.F.A. in Fibers and an M.A. in Curatorship from Indiana University Bloomington. As a curator, artist, and educator, she brings both creative and analytical skills to a broad range of interdisciplinary projects. Passionate about promoting accessibility, she works to engage students and communities with IU’s diverse and expansive collections.
Before joining University Collections, Emily led projects such as the Lineages of Birth exhibition, a university-community collaboration with the Kinsey Institute Library & Special Collections, supported by The Mellon Foundation. She has exhibited her artwork internationally and curated exhibitions like Maternochronics, which focuses on themes of the body, gender, and reproduction.
