Biography
Bill is an experienced fabricator, framer, and art handler, and exhibit installer who works with University Collections in planning, constructing, and installing all aspects of exhibits space infrastructure. Bill plays important roles in all aspects of exhibit prep and planning, including advising on exhibit lighting and layout plans. Bill also has expertise in designing, constructing, and maintaining 3D digital assets for museums and exhibit spaces, and he has experience using such modeling and rendering software as Sketchup, Rhino, Blender, Vray, Meshlab, and Materialize. Previously, Bill served as a preparator and visualization specialist at the Eskenazi Museum of Art (EMA) for five years, where he was an instrumental part of the museum’s renovation project, including handling, packing, transporting, and storing of collections materials. For EMA, Bill also performed many 3D modeling and visualization tasks.
Outside of work, Bill is an accomplished artist with an MFA in photography whose work explores the complexities of contemporary image culture and the digitization of the everyday.
